BRUNCH WITH THE BEST
To celebrate the culmination of Dig In’s Restaurant Royalty Black chef residency we launched a social, digital, and irl brunch royale. The activation put brunch culture across the country head-to-head online, and on one culturally infused menu during Super Bowl weekend.
To some, brunch is just another meal. Around the Dig In table, it’s much more. It’s an occasion, a reason to gather, a chance to gossip, and a momentary getaway from the world outside your circle. It’s is where chosen family comes to be fed in a way that food alone can’t satisfy. It’s a kind of nourishment that takes years of tradition, taste tests, and trash talk to truly understand. For us, community is everything. And this is the space we built to get together and make each the chef’s pushing the brunch tradition forward, feel like royalty.
BRUNCH BACK STORIES
We created individual brunch backstories for each chef that described their relationship to brunch as a culinary art and the significance of their signature dishes.
CTTC
We gave our chefs their flowers by using real comments from their followers to generate questions for our pre-event interviews.
BOH BTS
We gave our audience a sneak peak into the back of house experience by turning candid BTS footage of the chefs into organic social content.
BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH SWEEPSTAKES
To enter contestants had to submit a review shouting out their fave local Black-owned brunch spots. Creators amplified with partner content sharing their own Reel reviews and interactive stories content.
